Yoga teacher in Zurich
I discovered yoga thanks to my mother in 2011, during a retreat in a Buddhist monastery in Tuscany. Since then, yoga has been a powerful way to heal myself, my mind, and my body. I’m fascinated by the power of yoga on the physical body as well as on the mental space. It is beautiful how the mind reacts to the body’s impulses and vice versa. Traditional yoga philosophy had long ago discovered what modern medicine nowadays confirms and that is part of my constant research. Yoga is teaching me a lot and I believe there is much more to learn. Each asana, pranayama, and meditation is capable, with time, of suggesting new possibilities. These are lessons that I try to bring into my everyday life. In the last two years, I have approached the personal practice of Ashtanga yoga, which helped me to regularize my routine and to learn new shades of myself. Becoming a teacher is a natural expression of my passion and of the things which I want to share. All of this is a journey that I remain deeply curious about.
Class: Vinyasa means from the Sanskrit term nyasa, “to place,” and the prefix vi, “in a special way”. During the practice, you will learn how to move through different asana positions using your breath as a guide. You will create an order and a connection between mind, body, and breath. We will explore our body as a mirror that shows our mental tendency in daily life. Every position will be meticulously explained so that you are guided in your journey of growth.
